Low Carbohydrate High Fat (LCHF) diet

LCHF involves low carb high fat. It includes eating more natural & good fats and few carbohydrates to reduce or eliminate the problems of metabolic syndrome.

Metabolic syndrome involves the three or more of the following measurements:

  1. Abdominal obesity
              Waist circumference

          Men greater than 40 inches
           Women greater than 35 inches in women

     2. Triglyceride level of 150 milligrams per deciliter of blood (mg/dL)

                   Men greater
                   HDL cholesterol of less than 40 mg/dL in men

                    Women
                     Less than 50 mg/dL in women

      3  Systolic blood pressure (top number) of 130 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) or greater, or diastolic blood pressure (bottom number) of 85 mm Hg or greater.

    4.Fasting glucose of 100 mg/dL or greater
